Get Your Tissues Ready…

A few years ago after reading Twilight, I found out that Stephenie Meyer had another book out, and I decided to read it. It took me about a day and a half to get through The Host, and I have to say that it was one of the best books I think I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot of books.

Anyway, the day my best friend and I went to see The Hunger Games in theaters (the day it came out I saw it, by the way) we saw the previews for The Host as a movie. Today I decided to do a little research, and here’s what I found out…

Swallow Seven Times.

This is random, but I had to share. If you’ve got the hiccups, swallow seven times. Don’t drink anything, just swallow. It gets difficult after the fourth time or so, but it works.

It’s Not Where You Go, It’s Who You’re With

You know that saying, right? “It’s not where you go, it’s who you’re with.” Anybody who’s gone on a vacation or a trip anywhere for any length of time knows how true that is. Think about it.

Picture this: you go on a week long vacation to see the Grand Canyon*–which would be really cool, by the way–and the group you’re with is quiet, has no personality, and doesn’t want to do anything fun. So the entire time you’re there, seeing amazing canyons and having the opportunity to do a lot of interesting things, you’re bored. And bored is something you shouldn’t be while on vacation.

I Want To Slap These People

Whoever made these deserves to be slapped. Repeatedly. With a softball bat.

Copulation: 1. sexual intercourse; 2. a joining together or coupling

So, let me get this straight... this person wants copulation to occur on their copy machine? As long as the involved parties don’t weigh too much, of course. How difficult is it to learn the difference between ‘copulation’ and ‘cooperation’? Because there’s a difference.

The other day I heard this song on the radio, and I was like, “daaaaaaaaaang.” Because as I was listening to the lyrics, I got this surge of inspiration.
