A few years ago after reading Twilight, I found out that Stephenie Meyer had another book out, and I decided to read it. It took me about a day and a half to get through The Host, and I have to say that it was one of the best books I think I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot of books.
Anyway, the day my best friend and I went to see The Hunger Games in theaters (the day it came out I saw it, by the way) we saw the previews for The Host as a movie. Today I decided to do a little research, and here’s what I found out…
March 29, 2013… are you ready?
On March 29, 2013, The Host is supposed to be in theaters. Saoirse Ronan stars as Melanie, Ian is played by Jake Abel, and Kyle is played by Boyd Holbrook. Not only am I completely psyched about seeing this in theaters, but Jake Abel is just plain sexy. I think all three will work well in their rolls.

So, everyone, get your tissues ready! When I read the book, I went through almost an entire book. And if you haven’t yet read it, get on that now! It’s a great book with a stellar plot. And for all of you twilight-haters, I assure you that they are nothing alike.
