Overused Quotes: Time

Sometimes when I’m bored or procrastinating doing something that needs done, I like to scroll through websites that provide long lists of quotes on different topics. As you may or may not have noticed, I made a couple changes to my blog, including the addition of one of my all-time favorite quotes:

“One day, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” -Unknown

Anyway, thinking about that quote made me want to do some more quote searching, and I decided to look up some inspirational words on time. As I read through them, I realized how overused they are, and I decided that I should share some of the most overused quotes I could find on time. And, without further ado, here they are…

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” -Abraham Lincoln

“Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” -James Dean

“Every man dies. Not every man really lives.” -Braveheart

“Don’t take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.” -Elbert Hubbard

“Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of.” -Charles Richards

“When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die the world cries and you rejoice.” -Indian Saying

Well, that’s all for now, folks. I’ll be putting up some overused quotes on other topics at another point, but for now, I’ve got to get to bed! I’ve got work tomorrow, so I can’t be up too late.
